September 27 - New Mobility World Lab16 (IAA 2016) –Start-ups Meet Industry

The New Mobility World is all about innovation and the major technological trends of digitization – e.g. automation and connectivity – and clean power, but also about urbanization and megacities. Innovation can be evolutionary, even incremental, but it also can be disruptive, with the rise of new players and entirely new business models.

The NMW Lab16 is at the core of this development, it’s the petri dish of innovation of mobility and logistics. It is about how road transport, mobility and automobiles can become more efficient, greener and, of course, smarter. The Lab brings established players and startups together in short pitch presentations and subsequent matchmaking sessions, with industry and thought leaders giving insights through evocative speeches. It is the new startup and innovation laboratory of the German automotive industry – in a nutshell: startups meet industry.

We are expecting young tech companies and startups to join the event, as well as key players from commercial vehicle manufacturers, automotive suppliers and also journalists, venture capitalists, accelerators and many others at the world’s greatest trade fair for trucks, transporters and logistics, the IAA commercial vehicles 2016.
