We're the first and currently only semi strategic CVC. While we're fully owned by Samsung and our sole LP in our $150M fund is Samsung we're completely separate from the business units and are investing independently in pre-seed to series B software and services startups. we get no directives nor do we involve business units in the selection of the companies, what we do is to asses what companies have innovative products and tech that have a reasonable chance of being strategic to future products and business units and invest in them early on by evaluating their financial ROI first.
